Whoa - it's been a while. So, supposedly I have a job with big U to the south - they made me an offer via email, but I haven't gotten a formal letter yet, so I'm in a kind of limbo in both that job and my current one. :) I need to go talk to one of my colleagues that used to work there - dear god maybe she has some insight into why things are going this way.

I hate driving my mind over the broken roads for the "if this doesn't pan out" path, but I think I'm back to a larger problem here.

Am I just unfocused in this career? Yes. I am - I need to move out of this. I feel I've been extended an olive branch - and I want to go back to school. I feel like this is perhaps my last chance, the ability for education is only going to go up from here. I'm just burned out in this - I have to pick another direction.

But so far this gives me a terrible impression of this place - it's horrible!

Anyway, onward - I've got to find enough focus to keep trudging in the current job - perhaps permanently. :)
